Megan Mrazek, Realtor-Sponsors 4 Long Stay Shelter Dogs Professional Photos

Some sessions have a purpose that reaches beyond the portrait, and this one was a meaningful example of how photography can help support a great cause.

Thanks to the support of Megan Mrazek, Realtor, 4 long stay dogs at the Austin Humane Society had their adoption photos as part of our Second Chances Dogs Adoption photo project. Their names are Bodhi, Jack, Peaches and Petunia. Photos below are in order. The great news is that with the professional photos, Bodhi is on foster to adopt trials!

With Megan's sponsorship, each dog was able to receive the following and there was no cost to Austin Humane Society.

• Visibility of the dogs on social media which increases their chance of being adopted.

They say a photo is worth a thousand words, and it's true that professional photos of shelter/rescue dogs help them get adopted quicker as most intake photos at the shelter taken with the iphone doesn't show the dog's personality.
